This is the cautionary tale of the sale of Blair Technology Group from the point in time when the ownership group decided to sell the company (2004), through the date of sale of the company (October 14, 2005), through to the fifth anniversary of the transaction in October 2010.

It will be an account of the Lessons Learned about the preparation of the business for sale, the enormously difficult and complex process of consummating the transaction, and the short and long term impacts on the individuals involved in the business, both expected and unexpected.
